Despite what the temperature may read, it’s Spring in NYC (allegedly). With warmer weather and the local flora soon to be in bloom, there’s no better time to experiment with some film – Lomography’s Lomochrome Purple XR100-400. To take this month’s challenge to the next level, I’ll only be shooting portraits and with my Zenza 135mm f/4 portrait lens. It’s a narrower field of view – about a 90mm in 35mm format – that requires a bit more light than the faster 75mm f/2.8 that I typically pair with the Bronica.
After a rough end to March and beginning of April (being sick absolutely sucks guys), I’ve finally made it around to giving this month’s update. Last month, I focused on Black & White, medium format photography with Lomography’s Earl Grey 100. It’s one of my favorite black & white emulsions available. I hope to have the film developed this week and bring the results to you in the next post.
If you’re interested being part of this month’s project, be sure hit the Contact page and drop me a note. I’m always looking for new faces and people to collaborate with.
